Day 1:

Morning

Begin your day at Canada Place, where Vancouver's skyline meets the Pacific Ocean. Watch seaplanes take off from Coal Harbour while taking in panoramic views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains.

Continue along the Coal Harbour Seawall toward Jack Poole Plaza, home to the Olympic Cauldron from the 2010 Winter Games.

From there, stroll into Gastown, Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood. Wander its cobblestone streets, admire beautifully restored heritage buildings, browse local boutiques and galleries, and stop to see the famous Steam Clock before enjoying lunch at one of the neighbourhood's acclaimed restaurants.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon exploring Stanley Park, one of the world's most celebrated urban parks.

Walk or cycle along portions of the famous seawall while stopping at highlights including:

  • Totem Poles at Brockton Point
  • Prospect Point
  • Scenic viewpoints overlooking Lions Gate Bridge
  • Forest trails surrounded by towering cedar and Douglas fir trees

The combination of coastline, rainforest, and mountain views captures everything that makes Vancouver unique.

Head to Granville Island, one of Vancouver's most vibrant cultural destinations.

Browse the bustling Public Market, sample locally made foods, discover artisan studios, and explore independent galleries and specialty shops. The waterfront setting and creative atmosphere make it one of the city's most memorable places to visit.

If time permits, take a False Creek Ferry for a scenic perspective of Vancouver's skyline.

Evening

End your day at English Bay Beach, where locals gather to watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant before taking one final stroll along the seawall as the city lights begin to reflect across the water.
